Engine Insurance:

Long Racing Engines now offers dry sump oiling components and kits from Peterson Fluid Systems.  Hard acceleration and deceleration of today's high powered engines can pull oil away from the pickup screen in wet sump systems.  Don't let this destroy your expensive investment.  Dry sump oiling offers constant pressure to the engine by utilizing an external pump and oil tank driven by engine speed.  This almost eliminates any oil related problems in competition engines.  Other advantages of dry sump oil systems include:

Reduced windage

Higher crankcase vacuum

Lower engine temperatures

More consistent oiling

More horsepower*

* up to 25 horsepower in some applications

*Long Racing Engines has recently teamed up with Redman Racing to improve cylinder head development.  Redman utilizes 5-axis CNC machining, digitizing, and hand blending to provide the maximum performance for each customers unique needs.  The customers cam specs are analyzed in order to develop the best velocity and cfm for their application.  Redman racing is producing noticeable horsepower increases for every application.  Call today for prices.

*We are currently upgrading our dyno ignition to a MSD 7AL digital programmable box.  This will allow us to tune each of the cylinders individually while mapping ignition events.  This will take our racing engines to the next level of power and consistency.
