L.R.E. recommends Callies crankshafts for the racers who want an upgrade in quality or a stroke larger than 4.500.  Callies cranks are made in the USA and are forged form 4340 steel.  BBC cranks start at $1200.00.  These are usually available in 2 business days.  SBC applications must be special ordered.  Because of the large expense, and very small mark up, Callies cranks require a full deposit before ordering.  Call for more information.

Lunati cranks are special order items.  They offer similar quality to that of Callies and a comparable price as well.  We recommend their non-twist crankshafts for blown motors running large boost numbers.  Lunati offers a variety of different strokes for both SBC and BBC.  Call for pricing and estimated ship date.

*Long Racing Engines strongly recommends upgrading to a Callies or Lunati crankshaft for engines over 1000HP or when there is heavy use of forced induction (i.e.. nitrous oxide, turbo charged, or superchargers).
